12. Remove the battery, battery base and transmission ground cable.

13. Disconnect the:two connectors, theni remove the distributor "V".

15. Remove the throttle cable by loosening the locknut, then slip the cable end 6 utpf theaccelerator linkage.

14. Remove the engine wire harness connector on the left side of engine compartment.
16. Remove the engine wire harness connectors, terminal, and clamps on the right side of engine compartment. Take care not to bend the cable when removing it. Always replace any'kinked cable with a new one.
