The prototype of off-road car Acura MDX under name MD-X has been shown for the first time on a motor show in Detroit and has caused the big interest. Manufacture of model for the American market has begun in the autumn 2000 at the Canadian factory of company Honda. In usual conditions MD-X - the car with a forward control, the all wheel drive is connected only at a slipping of front wheels.
